Beloved Korean actor Yoon Kye Sang has shocked fans revealing he’s underwent surgery last year.
On April 23, Yoon Kye Sang shot a pictorial with GQ Korea, during the interview portion of the pictorial the actor personally revealed he’s been diagnosed with Cerebral Aneurysm.
Cerebral Aneurysm is a weak or thin spot on an artery in the brain that balloons or bulges out and fills with blood. The bulging aneurysm can put pressure on the nerves or brain tissue. A ruptured aneurysm can cause serious health problems such as hemorrhagic stroke, brain damage, coma, and even death.
Yoon Kye Sang confided,
“Now that it is in the past and over, I was diagnosed with Cerebral Aneurysm, and I underwent surgery last year. I had to insert coils and a stent in my artery.
I was lucky to have found it in the early stages and it has changed my perspective ever since. I could have died any day without knowing why if I hadn’t found it early. I thought I had a second chance to live my life. I was very fortunate.”
Yoon Kye Sang has taken a hiatus from work for a year and is now healthy and back, he’s working hard this year and plans on being ‘super active,’ he’s joined Just Entertainment recently and is currently filming for his upcoming drama “Crime Puzzle.”
