The boys of BTS have definitely made ARMYs shed tears of joy, but there was a time when ARMYs took the opportunity to return the favor.
During the group’s second day at the Wembley Stadium, 90,000 fans surprised the boys by singing “Young Forever” for them. BTS members had no idea that the fans would burst out in song for them, and they were moved to tears by the gesture.
It was all planned before the concert started. The staff members decided to hold a special event for BTS and asked the fans for their participation in the wonderful surprise. They wanted to create a moment the boys would never forget – a moment that would last a lifetime for both BTS and their beloved ARMYs. The staff asked the fans to keep it a secret from the boys so that it could be a surprise!

And that’s exactly what ARMYs did. They kept it a secret and successfully surprised BTS at their own concert.

The members were overwhelmed by the amount of love they received and they stared lovingly at their fans, almost as if they were taking pictures in their minds as not to forget the moment. They were seen unable to hide their tears.
Some ARMYs who attended the concert also mentioned being moved to tears, too. Their idols were seeing how much love they have for them. It was truly a touching moment.
The boys had each expressed how they felt after the surprise event, saying:
Jin: “I think I’ll never forget this memory.”

This is definitely a moment that will always be in the hearts of ARMYs and BTS. It’s a moment that shows that the love the fans have for the group and vice-versa is eternal, and will always be there.
BTS debuted under Big Hit Entertainment in 2013. They are known for self-producing and writing most of their music. They touched the hearts of their fans with their lyrics, which often focus on social commentary, troubles of adolescence, mental illness, loving and being oneself.
With “Wings,” being BTS’s first album to sell one million copies in South Korea, the boys were able to gain massive traction in the West, leading the Hallyu wave to the U.S. and breaking countless records. They are the first K-pop group to receive certification from the Recording Industry Association of America.
BTS was also the first K-pop act to dominate the Billboard 200 with “Love Yourself: Tear,” and have clinched the top of the U.S. charts numerous times. They are the fastest group since the Beatles to earn four no. 1 albums in less than two years.
Further, BTS is the best-selling artist in the South Korean history and was the second best-selling artist of 2018. Media outlets dubbed then the “Princes of Pop,” and in 2019, they were featured in Time magazine’s list of 100 most influential people in the world.
They are the youngest recipients of the Order of Cultural Merit from the President of South Korea.
