The famous K-pop artist, music producer, and Block B member Zico is reported to enlist in the military by the end of July. On the 21st of this month, the Korean media news outlet Dailian released a report stating that Zico will be enlisting on July 30.
After successful completion of the four-week training boot camp, Zico will work as a social worker. They said, “Block B’s Zico will enlist in the military on July 30, and after he completes the basic military training, he is expected to work as a public service worker.”

Meanwhile, Zico is Block B’s fifth member to enlist in the military after Jaehyo, Taeil, U-Kwon, and B-Bomb. As a part of the South Korean law, all non-disabled men ages 18-28 must undergo military training. However, for acceptable reasons, they can delay their enlistment until they’re 30 years old. Zico, who was born in 1992, is now 29 years old.

Zico started his career in K-pop in 2011 as one of Block B’s members. Their debut single “Do U Wanna B?” was an instant hit amongst Koreans. In 2019, Zico released his solo single “Any Song,” which was a massive hit. Celebrities and fans even posted cover videos of the song on TikTok and different social media channels.
