BTS‘s MAP OF THE SOUL world tour is being rescheduled due to the COVID-19 global pandemic.
On April 28, after weeks of deliberation, Big Hit Entertainment announced their decision to postpone the entire tour, which was originally scheduled to begin this month. BTS’s Seoul show was canceled soon after the outbreak reached Korea, followed by the postponement of the North American shows.
Although some countries have managed to make strides toward curbing COVID-19, the risk is still too high for BTS, Big Hit Entertainment’s staff, and concertgoers. Cross-border travel is also difficult at this time, due to current restrictions.
It is difficult to resume the tour in the current situation, where movement between countries is greatly limited due to the nature of the performance.

Big Hit Entertainment plans to reschedule the tour in its entirety and provide fans with a new tour schedule once they are certain the tour can begin. As of right now, it is impossible to predict when this will be.
Depending on the COVID-19 situation, it may take a long time, but we will try to have BTS meet fans as soon as it is possible. While we wait for activities to resume as normal, we will keep finding ways for our artists to interact with fans during this “new normal” era.
