“Romance in the House” has just released a surprise still cut featuring a heart-fluttering, full-on love date between Son Na-eun and Choi Min-ho, giving fans a glimpse into their new romance.
In the latest episode of JTBC’s Sat-Sun drama “Romance in the House” (written by Kim Young-yoon, directed by Kim Da-ye, produced by MI·SLL), Byun Mi-rae (Son Na-eun) and Nam Tae-pyeong (Choi Min-ho) finally confront their feelings for each other. After a tense moment of realizing their mutual attraction, they shared a sweet kiss that left viewers eagerly anticipating their next steps in this pink-hued youth melodrama.
Nam Tae-pyeong’s father, Nam Chi-yeol (Jung Woong-in), the CEO of a major retail chain, had requested Mi-rae persuade his son to join the company. Tae-pyeong, who had previously ignored his father’s wishes, began to suspect a special connection between Mi-rae and his father when he learned that Mi-rae had traveled all the way to Sokcho to help him. Angered by his father’s meddling, Tae-pyeong initially rebuffed the request, but Mi-rae, firmly supporting Tae-pyeong’s decisions, turned down the offer, saying, “Mr. Nam Tae-pyeong is not someone who is persuaded or swayed by others. I just want to support whatever Tae-pyeong decides.”
Tae-pyeong, moved by Mi-rae’s unwavering support, couldn’t contain his feelings and rushed to her side. He confessed, “I like you,” and Mi-rae, acknowledging the ‘danger signal’ of her own feelings, shyly responded, “I like you too.” Episode 8 of “Romance in the House” was filled with their sweet “Night Yang-gaeng chemistry,” reaching the peak of melodrama.
As anticipation builds for Episode 9, airing on the 7th, a new still cut shows Mi-rae and Tae-pyeong enjoying a series of affectionate moments. From making heart-shaped gestures, putting their hands on each other’s shoulders, to sharing a meal of cup ramen with a nighttime view from Tae-pyeong’s rooftop, and even shopping like a newlywed couple, the cut highlights their deepening relationship.
The preview for Episode 9 teases even more of their sweet chemistry. With Mi-rae’s narration, “The ordinary daily life has started to become special. I guess this is what love is,” viewers can look forward to numerous endearing moments of Mi-rae and Tae-pyeong together.
The production team commented, “As Mi-rae steps away from her ‘favorite mother’ Ae-yeon (Kim Ji-soo) and begins to build a life of her own, her relationship with Tae-pyeong marks a significant turning point. This youth melodrama will showcase Mi-rae’s journey of love and personal growth as she transitions to adult life. We hope viewers will enjoy watching Mi-rae’s evolving love story in the final four episodes.”
