Connected emotions turn into love in tvN’s Link: Eat, Love, Kill

Along with news of a slightly later premiere date, more promos have been released for tvN’s upcoming Link: Eat, Love, Kill including posters and a video teaser.
The fantasy romance stars Yeo Jin-gu (Beyond Evil) and Moon Ga-young (True Beauty) as two strangers who suddenly find themselves connected by a mysterious “link” phenomenon. It’s been 18 long years since the last “link” occurred and the two are perplexed to find their emotions synchronized with each other, making them feel what the other is feeling at random times.

The newest teaser starts with Yeo Jin-gu lost in thought about his connection with Moon Ga-young, “Even if we’re far apart in distance, the emotions feel so vivid.” Moon reflects on their situation as well and she realizes with a smile that, “He always shows up when I’m in trouble.” Cut to Yeo yelling Moon’s name and running quickly towards her.
We then jump to a sequence of intermittent text screens reading: “Eat and love, to kill for.” In the scenes in between, Yeo Jin-gu reprimands his kitchen staff, “If the person cooking is depressed, then the food will taste depressing as well,” while a happy Moon Ga-young enjoys her pasta dish. Moon is determined that, “There will never be another man in my life.” But when she sees a car approaching from behind, she yanks Yeo out of the way. He firmly tells her, “Don’t ever like me,” and a peevish Moon scoffs to herself afterwards, “Who said I liked him?”
Moon Ga-young can’t help but run to Yeo Jin-gu’s restaurant, though, when she suddenly gets a linked emotion. Teary-eyed, she explains, “It feels like something a little dangerous and maybe scary?” Moon quickly hides to avoid being seen, but Yeo confronts her afterwards, “What is the real reason for coming here?” The teaser then comes to a close with Moon blurting out, “I like you.”
With PD Hong Jong-chan (Juvenile Justice) at the helm, and scripts written collaboratively by Kwon Do-hwan and Kwon Ki-young (Suspicious Partners), Link: Eat, Love, Kill is currently set to premiere on June 6.
