The iconic group 2NE1 is extending their 15th anniversary concert tour to Asia.
YG Entertainment announced on the 6th that 2NE1 will be performing in Manila, Philippines on November 16th and in Jakarta, Indonesia on November 23rd.
YG Entertainment expressed excitement about the expansion, stating, “We’re thrilled to confirm these additional Asia tour dates in response to the many requests we’ve received. We’re committed to delivering performances that reflect the immense love and support we’ve been given.”
Previously, 2NE1 had announced concerts in Seoul from October 4th to 6th, Kobe from November 29th to December 1st, and Tokyo from December 13th to 15th. Due to high demand, they’ve added an extra show in each of these cities.
Since their debut in 2009, 2NE1 has been a defining force in the second generation of K-pop, with hits like “Fire,” “I Am the Best,” and “Comeback Home.” After disbanding in 2016 and releasing their final track “Goodbye (GOOD BYE),” the group continued to pursue solo careers. They reunited for a notable performance at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in 2022.
