Dear Hyeri kdrama – Episode 3 Recap and Spoilers.
In the 3rd episode, Hyun-oh (Lee Jin-wook) was shown running straight to Eun-ho (Shin Hae-sun) after receiving a call from Soo-jung (Lee Pil-ra). In the car that Hyun-oh came to rescue, Eun-ho asked, “Why did you come?” and Hyun-oh replied, “I heard there’s a body in the car.” However, Eun-ho noticed that Hyun-oh came in a hurry wearing 2 pairs of shoes and coldly rebuked him, saying, “Don’t come again. No matter what happens to me, even if I die soon, Jung Hyun-oh, don’t come.” Hyun-oh, who got out of the car following Eun-ho, stopped Eun-ho and said, “I’m embarrassed by you,” and Eun-ho asked, “What?” with a somewhat surprised expression, stimulating curiosity with the introduction.
On the other hand, Joo-yeon (Kang Hoon) gave excitement by gradually growing his love for Hye-ri (Shin Hae-sun). He felt sorry for Hye-ri’s empty seat at the parking management office, and when he returned to the dark house and looked at the cup that Hye-ri had drank water from, he recalled Hye-ri’s strange yet lovely memories from the night before. Joo-yeon confessed to Hye-ri that night, his older brother, who was like a father to him, died in an accident on the way back from attending his military academy commissioning ceremony. He confessed that he gave up his own dream to become an announcer in order to fulfill his older brother’s dream, and Hye-ri, who was listening to his confession calmly, asked, “Are you happy living like this?”, making Joo-yeon feel sad. Joo-yeon, who was unable to speak for a while as if overcome with emotion, was moved to tears as he was comforted by Hye-ri’s words.
After that, Joo-yeon expressed his disappointment by telling Hye-ri, whom he met in front of the parking management office, that Hye-ri left home the next morning without saying anything while he was at his house. After that, Joo-yeon made his heart race by saying, “I wish we could wake up together next time.” When Hye-ri couldn’t hold back her joyous laughter, Joo-yeon recalled the first time he met Hye-ri at the parking management office and confessed directly, “I thought you were cute. Since it was the first time, I keep thinking about you. I keep thinking about Joo Hye-ri.”
Hye-ri’s time was happy, but Eun-ho’s time was hard. Due to office politics, she was publicly ignored in front of her announcer colleagues for an unreasonable thing. Eun-ho bowed down to apologize to her junior, but she didn’t lose her uprightness, which made people feel sorry for her. After that, Eun-ho’s precarious emotional line finally exploded in the scene where she had a conversation with Hyun-oh after being rescued by the refrigerated truck. “I’m embarrassed by you. Eun-ho cut off Hyun-oh’s words, saying, “I hope you can live well in this world without me. I want you to be a good person,” and suppressed her emotions as if she was about to burst out, saying, “Can’t I be a little bit noisy?” She continued, “I’m not sorry right now. I broke up with you. We’re not even related,” and firmly added, “I don’t think I can ask you to be less embarrassing. Because it’s not my will to be so noisy,” and turned back to Hyun-oh.
Eun-ho and Hye-ri’s relationship was also revealed little by little. Jae-yong (Yoon Joo-man), a so-called “golden bat” reporter who leaks information from the announcers’ office and the news office, shocked Eun-ho by saying, “I saw the same face in the MediaN Seoul parking lot, and said, “That woman is your sister. But your sister is dead,” and Eun-ho froze for a moment, then said, “My sister isn’t dead. Who are you to kill someone with your words? Don’t cross the line,” and became coldly angry.
It was revealed that Eun-ho’s younger sister Hye-ri went missing during her college days, Eun-ho, who was suffering because of this, learned through Hye-ri’s diary that she wanted to work in the same broadcasting station parking lot as her older sister. Then, Eun-ho, who decided to live the life that her missing younger sister Hye-ri dreamed of, got a job at the Media N Seoul parking lot management office, and as time passed, she visited a psychiatrist and confessed , “There are moments that I don’t remember anything.”
After that, Eun-ho found out that Hye-ri was dating Joo-yeon and went to Media N to find Joo-yeon. Joo-yeon found Eun-ho asking questions at the information desk and smiled, saying, “Oh, it’s Hye-ri.” At the same time, when Hyun-oh, who happened to visit the same broadcasting station for work, called her, “Hey, Joo Eun-ho,” Eun-ho turned her head in embarrassment and the ending made the tension soar. In a situation where Joo-yeon calls Hye-ri from the side and Hyun-oh calls Eun-ho from behind, curiosity about how Eun-ho will be able to escape the situation has increased.
