While BEAUTY AND MR. ROMANTIC has become more interesting recently, as reflected in its rising ratings, it still suffers from excessive melodrama and not enough sweet romance to create a proper balance. I don’t expect the ratings to improve significantly, especially given the number of weekend shows available. After all, who wants to watch yet another show with a terrible mother and a mean second male lead?
I’m honestly relieved to see BAD MEMORY ERASER’s low ratings; it reassures me that the Korean audience can distinguish quality from the mediocre.
I’m curious to see if DNA Lover’s ratings will eventually improve. The first episode was a real mess, but the show has some engaging characters that deserve a second chance.
GOOD PARTNER definitely deserves more love—it’s truly deserving of even greater recognition.
