Woollim Entertainment’s 7 member boy group DRIPPIN has officially debuted along with the music video’s release for ‘Nostalgia.’

“Nostalgia” is the title song of the Woollim Entertainment rookie boy group’s first mini-album ‘Boyager,’ and it’s about reminiscing about a memory long gone. It is quite visible from the music video that the members have put an incredible amount of effort into their debut. They have the freshness of rookies but the technique of idols who have been doing this for quite a while. Fans were also super excited to see familiar faces once more on-screen, living their full potential this time.
On the 14th of October, 2020, the agency Woollim Entertainment released a surprise spoiler video of Drippin ( consisting of Hwang Yoon Seong, Lee Hyup, Joo Chang Wook, Kim Dong Yoon, Kim Min Seo, Cha Jun Ho, and Alex) on their official SNS channel. It confirmed their debut date as October 28, 2020! All the members except Alex participated and competed in Produce X 101, and Cha Jun Ho was also a part of the winning project group X1.
Earlier, Drippin, who entered the debut countdown by releasing the complete debut prequel l’Allegory of DRIPPIN’, is not the group’s worldview or music direction, but in turn, the experiences and concerns experienced by the members in preparing for their debut. As it was released, fans in Korea and international fans were eager to the debut of this group with high expectations from all the members. Hyeop has been designated so far as the vocalist position, Yonseong will be a vocalist and a dancer, and Jun Ho will be the vocalist and visual. Alex is the maknae of the group. The other members are yet to reveal their capabilities and positions, making fans even more curious.
Meanwhile, DRIPPIN had spurred the preparation of their debut album and steadily communicated with fans by releasing their debut reality program ‘We are DRIPPIN!’ through the KT OTT service ‘Seezn (season)’ recently.
As a result, the members are already getting close to their fans, thus creating a steady fandom for themselves, along with their debut. Hyeop Trained for a year and 8 months. His skills are singing, fixing, and popping things. His hobbies include watching YouTube and Netflix American and British dramas and searching for information about pets. He joined Woollim Entertainment after the show had ended. He was being scouted by multiple companies but decided on Woollim.
Yunseong used to go to an acting theater academy during elementary school years. He has also trained for a year and 1 month since the start of the show. His skill is dancing, and his hobbies are making choreography, watching choreography, and boarding. Yunseong was a back-up dancer for BTS’s ‘Not Today’ performance at Gayo Daejun. Apparently, he used the money he made from that to buy his mom a bag.
Changuk has trained for a year and 3 months. His skills are his athletic ability. His hobbies are listening to music, watching youtube videos, and making elephant sounds. He is said to resemble Onew from SHINee.
Dongyun has trained for a year and 5 months. His skill is singing. His hobbies are playing soccer, gaming, and listening to music. Minseo has trained for only 3 months. His skill is acting. His hobbies are looking for drama lines, listening to music, and playing soccer.
Junho’s skill is singing. His hobbies are watching movies and goblin language. Junho has trained for a year and 3 months since the start of the show. Junho is a vocal major. He is classmates with Han Chowon (Produce 48) and TXT’s Taehyun and Heuning Kai. Junho’s nickname is ChaCha.
Alex is the only member who was not a participant in Produce X 101, but he is also gaining attention for his unique personality.
