EXID‘s LE announced that she has officially parted ways with Banana Culture. LE first debuted back in 2012 with the agency with EXID. After a rocky start to her career, she found massive popularity after producing their signature song “Up & Down”.
After 8 years with the agency, LE decided it’s time to take on new challenges. She uploaded a message to her Instagram explaining her decision.
Although her contract with Banana Culture hadn’t expired, she revealed that through a long discussion with her agency, she had the contract cancelled.

After smooth discussions with Banana Culture, I decided to cancel my contract with them. I will return soon with good music and image, so please cheer on my new beginnings

LE was the last EXID member to leave the agency as Hani and Jeonghwa decided not to renew their contracts back in May 2019. Hyelin and Solji both left the agency earlier this year, and LE was the last member to leave.
Although she did not explain if she’ll be joining another agency or creating her own, LE would do just fine as she’s written numerous hits, proving that she’s a musician that stands the test of time!
