A spin-off of No Gain No Love, this TVING’s original series Spice Up Our Love is an unpredictable romantic fantasy drama centered around Nam Ja-yeon (Han Ji-hyun), a 19+ web novel writer who suddenly becomes the female protagonist of her own story, Seo Yeon-seo. As she navigates this new reality, she develops a relationship with Kang Ha-jun (Lee Sang-yi), the male lead of a romance novel.

Lee Sang-yi stars as Kang Ha-jun, the ideal male protagonist in Nam Ja-yeon’s narrative. In the series, Kang Ha-jun is the president of Seo Yeon-seo’s company, GB Electric. Though he initially appears cold-hearted, he is deeply affectionate toward the woman he loves. As he encounters Yeon-seo, whose personality has shifted dramatically overnight, viewers can look forward to their captivating chemistry.
Lee Sang-yi has impressed audiences with his romantic performances in dramas like Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha and My Demon, where he received praise for his nuanced character portrayals and chemistry with co-stars.
