BTS‘s RM gave his HYBE hoobaes TXT a subtle shout-out during his ending speech at the final PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE concert in Las Vegas, Nevada.
BTS performed four concerts in Las Vegas at Allegiant Stadium as part of their PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE shows. The group concluded with their final show on Saturday, April 16.
As it came time for BTS’s leader RM to give his final speech, the crowd of ARMYs and the members cheered him on…
During RM’s ending speech, he reflected on the previous PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE concerts. In doing so, he revealed that originally PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE was meant to be a one-time event.
Like this, our PERMISSION TO DANCE is finally over. Actually, I gotta say this ’cause it’s the last night… Actually, PERMISSION TO DANCE was just a one-time thing for an event.

Despite the setlist being active and strenuous with little to no breaks, the group continued to deliver show-stopping performances every time.
After COVID, we wanted to give you a present and make this a total package, all the crazy choreos and all the songs you want to listen to, all the dances you want to see. We just wanted to make one total package. There is like no break, crazy dance is really tough to perform.

So, now what once was meant to be just one show has become twelve. With that, RM said a familiar phrase…
But, you know, this is our 12th show of PERMISSION TO DANCE. I feel like a Cinderella…

Based on his smirk after saying, “I feel like a Cinderella,” it seems like it was a direct reference to Yeonjun‘s iconic line “Feel like Cinderella 내가 변해 (feel like Cinderella naega byeonhae)” from TXT’s “Cat & Dog” off of the group’s debut EP The Dream Chapter: Star. “내가 변해” translates as “I change.” So, “Like Cinderella, I change.”

While the entirety of “Cat & Dog” was made for the internet, honestly, this specific phrase took over social media, primarily TikTok, within the past year. Many fans posted edits even of other group’s songs with it.

So, we think it’s highly likely TXT’s sunbae RM was referencing it!
