LE SSERAFIM from UK Official Singles Chart Debut to US Spotify’s New Record

LE SSERAFIM has demonstrated remarkable growth in the US and UK, two key hubs of the global music industry.

The title track “CRAZY” from LE SSERAFIM’s 4th mini album has made significant strides, entering the latest ‘Weekly Top Songs US’ (covering August 30 to September 5) on Spotify at the team’s highest position of 83rd. This track garnered over 3.36 million streams in the US alone during the reporting period, setting a new record for weekly streaming among LE SSERAFIM’s releases. This represents a more than 16% increase compared to their previous track “EASY,” which recorded 2.89 million streams and entered Billboard’s Hot 100. Since its release, “CRAZY” has averaged over 440,000 daily streams on Spotify, a leading platform in Billboard’s chart compilations with the largest market share globally. The song’s sustained streaming performance continues to attract attention for its potential future impact.

Additionally, “CRAZY” achieved a new milestone on the Spotify Global Chart, ranking 58th with approximately 13.86 million streams, according to the latest “Weekly Top Songs Global.” The song also made waves in 21 countries and regions, including Taiwan, Singapore, Japan, and Canada.

In a notable achievement, LE SSERAFIM’s “CRAZY” entered the UK Official Singles Chart at 83rd place, as announced on the 6th. It also secured 14th place on the “Single Downloads” chart and 15th on the “Single Sales” chart, marking a 25-place improvement over their previous release “EASY” and setting a new career high.

LE SSERAFIM’s success on Spotify and the UK Official Chart underscores their rising prominence in the mainstream pop market.

Looking ahead, LE SSERAFIM is set to perform at the pre-show stage of the ‘2024 MTV Video Music Awards’ (MTV VMA) at the UBS Arena in New York on the 11th (7:30 AM on the 12th, Korean time). As the only K-pop artist nominated for ‘PUSH Performance of the Year,’ there is considerable anticipation about their potential win.
