Cinderella at 2AM kdrama – Episode 10 Finale Recap and Spoilers.
The final episode of Channel A’s Cinderella at 2 AM, which aired on September 22nd, showcased a heartwarming resolution as Joo-won’s (Moon Sang-min) family faced a crisis and ultimately grew closer, all thanks to Yoon-seo (Shin Hyun-bin). The episode culminated in Yoon-seo and Joo-won’s wedding, celebrated with heartfelt congratulations from everyone around them.
Joo-won’s family was reeling from his father’s affair and the ensuing divorce suit. In a bid to salvage the family’s reputation, Kim Sun-joo (Jin Hee-kyung) sought to use Yoon-seo as a pawn, asking her to manage the scholarship foundation to combat the fallout from a recent scandal. Ji-seok (Kim Tae-jung), having overheard Yoon-seo’s conversation, was outraged by Sun-joo’s attempt to exploit his sister’s struggles and rushed to confront Joo-won.
Despite the turmoil, Yoon-seo remained a source of comfort for Joo-won, who was grappling with his emotions at the revelations. “You can be angry whenever you want, but right now is the only time, you can offer comfort,” she advised, persuading Joo-won and Si-won (Yoon Park) to support Sun-joo, who was on the verge of despair. This marked the beginning of a clumsy chaotic outing for the trio. As they talked, tensions mounted, leading to a frustrating situation where they found themselves stranded on the roadside after running out of gas.
This unexpected delay allowed the mother and sons to engage in honest conversations. They came to realize that, despite past unkindness, their intentions had always been genuine. Sun-joo admitted she had struggled to accept Yoon-seo because of her own unhappy family background. She ultimately decided to support the marriage unconditionally, setting aside her previous reservations.
Meanwhile, the relationship between Si-won and Mi-jin also evolved. After acknowledging their feelings, they began to navigate the complexities of a serious relationship, experiencing jealousy and bickering, including forgetting their wedding anniversary.
On the long-awaited wedding day, Yoon-seo radiated confidence, embodying her belief: “I know my own worth.” Together, Yoon-seo and Joo-won had triumphed over the challenges that could have pulled them apart. They demonstrated that through persistent efforts to cultivate happiness, they could create a reality more enchanting than any fairy tale, culminating in a joyful wedding surrounded by their loved ones.
And they lived happily ever after. The end.
