NCT Dream‘s Jisung has a one-of-kind way of greeting people whether it’s a handshake or a high-five. Instead of doing what everyone would expect, he does the complete opposite with his hand movements.
Since his friendship with Stray Kids‘ Felix is blossoming well after their collaboration stage for SBS‘s Gayo Daejun, he felt comfortable enough to bust it out at the 9th Gaon Chart Music Awards when they reunited.
Towards the end of the show, Felix found himself standing right in front of NCT Dream. As his new friends, he couldn’t pass up the opportunity to greet them. He turned around and reached out for a handshake with Jisung. Even though Felix held out a flat hand, Jisung did the opposite. He held out two fingers.
When they both reached out their hands even further, the handshake looked so strange a fan had to snap a photo of a close-up. Since Jisung didn’t suddenly change his hand to make it flat, Felix simply shook his two fingers.
Because Felix hadn’t been expecting such a unique handshake, he couldn’t hide his bright smile as he let go of his hand and turned to walk away. The fact that he finally experienced the one-of-a-kind handshake means more than you’d think.
Whenever Jisung feels comfortable or playful with someone, he always throws two fingers out as if they’re playing rock, paper, scissors when faced with a handshake or high-five.

If Jisung decided to try it out on Felix, who took it positively with a beaming smile, their friendship is truly making them grow closer and closer.
Watch Felix become pleasantly surprised by his friend Jisung’s signature handshake here.
