The Netflix series ‘Gyeongseong Creature’ Season 2 has unveiled a special poster that hints at the poignant story of Ho-jae (played by Park Seo-joon) and Chae-ok (played by Han So-hee). Set in Seoul in 2024, the season explores Ho-jae’s striking resemblance to Tae-sang and Chae-ok’s survival from the tumultuous spring of Gyeongseong as they confront their unfinished relationship and the fate that binds them.
The special poster captures a powerful moment, showcasing Ho-jae and Chae-ok embracing, both bearing the marks of their struggles. Their reunion raises questions about the connection that has persisted over time and the heartbreaking narrative that awaits them.
Park Seo-joon, portraying Ho-jae, commented, “He’s a character with a wide range of changes, so I had many concerns while acting, but it was enjoyable to explore different expressions.” This suggests that viewers can expect a distinct charm from Ho-jae compared to Tae-sang in 1945.
Han So-hee added, “Meeting Ho-jae felt like a joyful return to the time when I thought Chae-ok’s existence was meaningful,” hinting at Chae-ok’s deep longing and the emotional depth she will bring to the story.
The chemistry between the characters is expected to deepen the narrative. Park Seo-joon noted, “Since we’ve been filming together for a long time since Season 1, I’ve put a lot of effort into our partnership.” Han So-hee echoed this sentiment, stating, “The chemistry we’ve built over time is undeniable. Filming together has been energizing.”
Season 2 of ‘Gyeongseong Creature’ is set to premiere on Netflix on the 27th.
