Red Velvet’s Seulgi secured the 2nd spot in the Star Ranking’s female idol category.
For the 5th week of August, in the 149th Star Ranking female idol vote, which ran from 3:01 PM on August 29 to 3:01 PM on September 5, Seulgi garnered 23,851 votes, placing her in 2nd place.
Her Red Velvet colleague, Irene, claimed the top spot with 28,639 votes, while Girls’ Generation’s Yoona came in 3rd with 7,279 votes. New Jeans’ Hyein rounded out the top four with 2,286 votes.
Star Ranking is a fan-voting system that determines the rankings of favorite celebrities, with various special privileges awarded based on their standings. The star who maintains 1st place for four consecutive weeks will be featured in an outdoor billboard advertisement. Fans of the top-ranked star during this period can also support their favorite through the billboard advertisement video.
