The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for variety shows!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, interaction, media coverage, community awareness, and viewership indexes of 50 popular variety programs, using big data collected from August 5 to September 5.
MBC’s “How Do You Play?” topped this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 6,988,639, marking an impressive 84.17 percent rise in its score since August. High-ranking phrases in the show’s keyword analysis included “Yoo Jae Suk,” “Korean Broadcasting Awards,” and “news anchor,” while its highest-ranking related terms included “award,” “reunite,” and “form.” The program’s positivity-negativity analysis revealed a score of 86.07 percent positive reactions.
TV Chosun’s “Love Call Center” took second place in the rankings with a brand reputation index of 6,009,830, marking a modest 1.75 percent increase in its score since last month.
SBS “Running Man” came in third place after enjoying a 24.15 percent rise in its brand reputation index since August. The show’s total score for September came out to 4,762,767.
JTBC’s “Ask Us Anything” claimed fourth place with a brand reputation index of 4,693,170, while MBC’s “Home Alone” (“I Live Alone”) trailed close behind with a total index of 4,692,858.
