Along with the awards, there were some musical performances from different acts. NewJeans shined with their performances of “ETA” and “Super Shy,” getting the crowds excited.

Yet, one idol truly stole the show… but in what way depends on the person watching. Amongst the performers, netizens were shocked to see J.Y. Park (known as JYP and Park Jin Young) perform an odd medley of his own songs and Western tracks.

Starting with “Sweet Dreams,” J.Y. Park appeared in a long coat and a very dark demeanor.

From the minute he started, everyone in the crowd was shook. While Park Bo Young was living her best life, Kim Sun Young seemed just shocked at what she was watching on the screen.

If that wasn’t enough, J.Y. Park had a lot left up his sleeve as he had a sudden outfit change into a tight and sexy purple look.

Of course, there were idols amidst the audience… and unsurprisingly, the reactions that truly went viral were from Krystal and EXO‘s D.O. With years of experience, they seemed lost for words or emotions after seeing J.Y. Park flaunt across the stage.

When he got to his hit track “When We Disco,” the idol even got host Kim Hye Soo involved.

Some stars seemed to need time to really take in what they were watching, with expressions of confusion or intrigue.

In the end, Krystal and those around her couldn’t help but show their… appreciation for the art that J.Y. Park had provided.

As always, award ceremonies create some of the most memorable moments. After the performance, netizens were obsessed with the reactions, especially of D.O. and Krystal.
