TXT‘s last comeback was in May 2022, when the group released their successful mini-album, Minisode 2: Thursday’s Child. The mini-album’s concept was a complete departure from what fans were used to and had MOAs shook with their duality.
In a new interview with Men’s Folio, TXT’s maknae Hueningkai opens up about what fans can expect with their upcoming The Name Chapter: Temptation mini-album and if they’ll be following the same concept as “Good Boy Gone Bad.”
When TXT debuted in 2019, they presented themselves as the quintessential “boys next door” with fun photoshoots and colorful outfits that perfectly complemented their upbeat debut single, “Crown.”
Four years later, the members have grown up in front of fans and shown various concepts, including a darker, more mature image with their last mini-album, Minisode 2: Thursday’s Child.
For their comeback on January 27, TXT has kept The Name Chapter: Temptation spoilers to a minimum, revealing the name of the upcoming mini-album at the 2022 Melon Music Awards and releasing a stunning six-minute concept trailer afterward.
In Hueningkai’s interview with Men’s Folio, he opens up about The Name Chapter: Temptation by sharing that he can’t say much about it besides the fact it will be “epic.”
We always like to keep our new releases as a surprise to our fans. But one thing I can share at the moment is that it will be epic!

Although he starts with a vague answer to stay secretive, he eventually gives MOAs some clues about what to expect when asked how their new concept would differ from what they’ve tried before.
In his answer, he spilled that the concept would be a continuation of the group’s “Good Boy Gone Bad” concept, but would focus on their transformation into a “new phase of their youth.”
This album’s concept focuses on how the guys from our last album transformed and embraced a new phase of their youth.

For the sound, Hueningkai shared that it’s ” very trendy and stylish ” and will continue to mirror TXT as artists.
Judging by the wildly positive reception of their “Good Boy Gone Bad” concept, their comeback will surely be one to look forward to!
