Drama Synopsis: Ji Gang Hui grew up in Motel California, run by her father in their rural hometown, and was often the subject of local gossip due to her unusual family background, including her mixed-race mother. These whispers left a deep emotional scar on her, especially since she harbored feelings for her childhood friend, Cheon Yeon Su, her first love. At 20, Gang Hui left for Seoul to pursue her dreams, and 12 years later, she has reached the peak of her career as an interior designer. However, something pulls her back to her hometown, where she reunites with Yeon Su, now a veterinarian who has remained emotionally devoted to her despite the attention he receives from local families eager to marry off their daughters. In an effort to avoid these unwanted situations, Yeon Su has allowed rumors about his engagement to another veterinarian to spread, but the return of Gang Hui after so many years stirs unresolved feelings between them.
