BLACKPINK is set to appear in the first episode of the new YouTube series, “RELEASED”!
According to YG Entertainment, BLACKPINK will appear in the YouTube music series “RELEASED”, which is scheduled to be released at 12:45 PM KST on October 2, 2020, Friday.

“RELEASED” is a new YouTube original series that selects artist with undeniable global popularity and showcases their talents and skills. Every Thursday, the show will also introduce up-and-coming artists and stars. The series is said to have documentary-style filming, similar to the documentary “Justin Bieber: Seasons” and “Coachella: 20 Years in the Desert of Coachella.”

BLACKPINK was selected to be the show’s first guest among the many superstars in the world, proving their global influence and boasting their reputation as YouTube queens.

Many eyes are focused on BLACKPINK now, with the group set to release their first full-length album titled “THE ALBUM” at 1 PM on October 2, 2020, Friday. Expectations for the group are at their peak. As it is their first full-length album in four years since their debut, fans from all around the world are anticipating their album. It has been reported that members Jisoo and Jennie participated in composing and writing the title track “Lovesick Girls”. Additionally, American rapper Cardi B is set to feature on one of the songs, showing BLACKPINK’s global popularity.
