On January 28, BTS appeared on The Late Late Show with James Corden to perform their new single “Black Swan” for the first time. Alongside their amazing live performance, the members got involved in plenty of fun with the host. Since James Corden is known to be a big fan of BTS and always treats them well, ARMYs wanted to do something to say thank you.
So, one fan came up with a great idea to thank him: supporting a charity that’s close to Corden’s heart. @SarahJaneCheeky on Twitter managed to find a tweet of Corden’s from December last year where he implored his followers to check out a charity called Magic Breakfast.
If you can, take a look at this wonderful charity @magic_breakfast I found their work to be inspiring and necessary for children in the UK who desperately need help. Particularly at this moment in time x https://t.co/lS6YK45wlD

Magic Breakfast is dedicated to providing filling and nutritious breakfasts for young, disadvantaged children across the UK. A staggering 1.8 million children in the country are at risk of going to school hungry due to poverty and unemployment. With the help of Magic Breakfast, these children are able to get a healthy start to each day.
James Corden himself had already donated to the charity, providing breakfasts for over 1,000 children for a year. That’s how ARMYs knew making their own donations would be the perfect way to say thank you.
So James Corden treats BTS and ARMY always so kindly and makes everyone feel welcomed at his show. There is a charity called @magic_breakfast that he supports. Maybe we could donate there to say thank you! https://t.co/jdnjvwEwN7

And make donations they did. On the afternoon of January 29, a spokesperson for the charity confirmed that ARMYs had already donated over 17,500 breakfasts for hungry children. That amounts to over £5,000 GBP ($6,500 USD) in donations.
The latest update from Magic Breakfast shares that the total has already risen to over 26,000 breakfasts, and that number is still going up.
Needless to say, we are extremely grateful and overwhelmed by the generosity of BTS fans, and James Corden.

James Corden was just as grateful as the charity itself, thanking ARMYs from the bottom of his heart for their kindness.
Oh man. This BTS army is real and full of love and it’s great! You have no idea how many children you have helped. Thank you thank you thank you x https://t.co/YJv8avLugX
