Fragile kdrama – Episode 5 Recap and Spoilers.
As the hyper-realistic high teen series ‘Fragile’ enters the latter half ‘Part 2’, it has caused excessive immersion by presenting even more unconventional developments and chaotic love lines. The rebound love and emotional fights of ‘teen couple’ Park Ji-yoo X Noh Chan-sung X Han Soo-jin, the dangerous love and aftermath of Jeon Mi-na X Nam Do-ha, and the new crush atmosphere of Seo A-ra X Yoon Soo-ho are fully depicted.
In episode 5 of ‘Fragile’ released on U+ Mobile TV on Monday the 7th, Park Ji-yoo, the ‘center of Joongang High School’s scandal’, fell into the abyss with the dishonor of being a ‘friend’s boyfriend collector’. In addition, the identity of the secret boyfriend that ‘lovely gold digger’ Jeon Mi-na was crazy about was revealed to be Nam Do-ha, the ‘super popular third-year senior’ who had previously flirted with Park Ji-yoo, adding to the shock.
In the previous episode 4, after fighting with her boyfriend Noh Chan-sung, Nam Do-ha gave Park Ji-yu a surprise kiss, giving her a ‘dopamine ending’. Surprised by Nam Do-ha’s sudden behavior, Park Ji-yu pushed him away, left the place, and met Noh Chan-sung who was waiting for her in front of her house. Previously, Noh Chan-sung had worsened his relationship with Park Ji-yu with several suspicious situations, such as his suspicious relationship with Han Soo-jin, who Park Ji-yu was on bad terms with, and a luxury wallet gift that did not suit her student level. Regarding this, Noh Chan-sung confessed the secret he had been keeping, saying, “I bought the wallet with money I won from ‘Toto’. Han Soo-jin’s older brother did it too. Han Soo-jin was with me a few times when I met that older brother. That’s all.” The two reconciled thanks to Noh Chan-sung’s apology and explanation.
But the next day, an unprecedented incident occurred in the classroom. Jeon Mi-na slapped Park Ji-yu in the face for no reason and shouted, “I hope you’re not the type to steal your friend’s boyfriend, but you stole Noh Chan-seong, who was Han Soo-jin’s boyfriend, too?” Then she shouted, “How could you steal my boyfriend? I saw Park Ji-yu kissing my boyfriend! My boyfriend told me to do it!” and shocked everyone. Park Ji-yu, who was too flustered to say anything, met Noh Chan-seong’s cold-faced eyes through the murmur of students and froze.
Because of this, not only did Park Ji-yu receive the cold stares of the students, but she also suffered even more severe bullying from Han Soo-jin’s group, who were her “hostiles.” Han Soo-jin would mock Park Ji-yu in front of her, saying, “Ah, you smell like a rag,” and during gym class, she would focus her attacks on Park Ji-yu by hitting the ball hard. Unable to stand by and watch, Seo A-ra, her “girl crush best friend,” confronted Han Soo-jin, saying, “You’re so childish… You still like Noh Chan-sung?” A group fight broke out between Park Ji-yu’s group and Han Soo-jin’s group, with people grabbing each other’s hair.
After that, Park Ji-yu explained to her friends, “Chan-seong, Soo-jin is my ex-boyfriend. It’s not that I did it on purpose, it just happened that way.” She also confessed, “I really didn’t know that Nam Do-ha was Mina’s boyfriend. It’s true that I was swayed by Nam Do-ha for a moment.” However, at this time, Jeon Mi-na retched in the bathroom and collapsed. After waking up a while later, Jeon Mi-na shocked everyone with the bombshell statement, “I… haven’t had my period since I met Nam Do-ha.” The dangerous love life of the ‘self-righteous high school student’ Jeon Mi-na, and its ending will be revealed in the next episode of ‘Fragile.’
Meanwhile, Yoon Soo-ho approaches Park Ji-yoo and Seo A-ra at a cafe and says, “Sit over there. We’ll be there soon,” and gives up his seat before disappearing. Yoon Soo-ho is one of the most popular boys in school along with Nam Do-ha, and he had previously shown subtle flirting with Seo A-ra by saying, “You tied your hair up?” The subtle situation where Yoon Soo-ho and Seo A-ra’s eyes keep meeting repeatedly increases viewers’ anticipation about how their relationship will change in the future.
The hyper-realistic high teen series ‘Fragile’, which is becoming a hot topic with its unconventional developments as each episode progresses, is released every Monday at midnight on U+ Mobile TV.
