Go Soo stumbles into Missing: The Other Side 2
by tccolb
With the premiere now just a week away, tvN’s Missing: The Other Side 2 has released its main teaser, hinting at the new mystery involving Lee Jung-eun (Yonder) and reuniting our ghost helper duo: Go Soo (Money Game) and Heo Jun-ho (Why Her?).
Bringing back the justice-seeking con artist Kim Wook (Go Soo) and the still-grieving Jang Pan-seok (Heo Jun-ho), Season 2 kicks off with our heroes realizing that their ghost-sight has been restored and the two are soon led to a new village of souls. Thankfully, they still have Ahn So-hee (Thirty-Nine) as the brains in their trio – in addition to help from police detective Ha Joon (Bad Prosecutor).
In the new village, they meet the de facto mother hen Kang Eun-shil (Lee Jung-eun) as well as the mysterious Kim Dong-hwi (Forest of Secrets 2). But while Eun-shil sees the glass half-full about her own “missing” state, she is concerned about the rising number of children who show up at their village.

The new teaser opens with Wook reaching out to Pan-seok and the two discover that they can both see ghosts again. Telling Pan-seok that there’s another village of souls, the two travel there together and meet Eun-shil. Eun-shil tells them that she knows everything that goes on in the village and reassures the duo not to fret because she won’t cry.
Our heroes, in turn, reassure the children not to worry and confirm that they’re here to fulfill their promise. In the intermittent text screens we read: “A new village of souls. Meeting ‘lost souls’ again.” The video then comes to a close on Eun-shil wondering hopefully if Wook and Pan-seok will really make good on their promise.
Production continues from the first season with PD Min Yeon-hong (Insider) holding the reins alongside writers Ban Ki-ri (Dr. Frost) and Jung So-young. tvN’s Missing: The Other Side 2 will premiere next week on December 19, following Behind Every Star in the Monday-Tuesday slot.
