The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed its brand reputation rankings for K-Pop idols for the month of September. To determine which idols make the list, they analyzed consumer participation, community awareness, and news coverage

10. BTS’s Jin

Jin is a South Korean singer-songwriter. In 2013, he debuted as a member of the Big Hit Entertainment boy group, BTS. Prior to his debut, he was scouted and trained to be an actor before transitioning to train as an idol. Jin has released four solo songs, “Awake” (which was included in BTS’s “Wings” album), “Epiphany” (which was included in BTS’s “Love Yourself: Answer” album), “Moon” (which was included in BTS’s “Map of the Soul: 7” album, and “Tonight” (OST for “Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth”).

9. Super Junior’s Heechul

Heechul is a South Korean singer, songwriter, presenter, and actor. In 2005, he debuted as a member of the SM Entertainment group, Super Junior, and later debuted Super Junior-T. Prior to his debut as an idol, Heechuld debuted as an actor with a lead role in the teen drama “Sharp 2”. He is currently a cast member of “Knowing Bros”, “My Little Old Boy”, and “Delicious Rendezvous”.

RM is a South Korean rapper, songwriter, and record producer. In 2013, he debuted as the leader of the Big Hit Entertainment boy group BTS. In 2015, he released his first solo mixtape, “RM”, and released his second on, “mono”, in 2018. RM has collaborated with numerous artists such as Wale, Younha, Warren G, Gaeko, Kriss Kaliko, MFBTY, Fall Out Boy, Primary, and Lil Nas X.

Jennie is a South Korea singer and rapper. She was born and raised in South Korea but spent her formative years in New Zealand to study. She lived in New Zealand from eight-years-old to 13-years-old. While her mother initially planned for her to study in Florida, Jennie chose to pursue music. With her parents’ support, the family moved back to South Korea in 2010, the same year she began her training in YG Entertainment. In 2016, she debuted as a member of BLACKPINK. She debuted as a soloist in 2018.

Jisoo is a South Korean singer and actress. In 2016, she debuted as a member of BLACKPINK. Prior to her debut, Jisoo made a cameo appearance in the drama “The Producers” with Sandara Park and WINNER’s Yoon. She also filmed advertisements for brands such as Samsonite, Smart Uniform, LG Electronics, and Nikon. In 2020, YG Entertainment confirmed Jisoo’s first lead role as an actress in the upcoming drama “Snowdrop”.

Jungkook is a South Korean singer and songwriter. In 2013, he debuted as a member of the Big Hit Entertainment boy group BTS. Jungkook has released two solo tracks under BTS, “Begin” (2016) and “Euphoria” (2018). In 2020, Jungkook released his first solo song outside of BTS called “Still With You”.

V is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and actor. In 2013, he debuted as a member of the Big Hit Entertainment boy group BTS. V has released two solo songs under BTS, “Stigma” (2016), and “Singularity” (2018). In 2016, V made his acting debut with a supporting role in the KBS drama “Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth”. IN 2019, V released his first solo song outside of BTS called “Scenery”. Seven months later, he released “Winter Bear”. In 2020, V released the song “Sweet Night” for the JTBC drama “Itaewon Class”.

In 2017, he debuted as the center of Wanna One. Following the group’s disbandment, Kang Daniel established his own agency, Konnect Entertainment, and debuted as a soloist.

Hwasa is a South Korean singer, rapper songwriter, composer, and television personality. In 2014, she debuted in the RBW girl group MAMAMOO. In 2019, Hwasa debuted as a soloist with the digital single “TWIT”. Hwasa is currently one of South Korea’s most sought-out idols for advertisements.

In 2018, Jimin released his first solo song outside of BTS titled “Promise”.
