MAXIM is a magazine brand that features gorgeous and sexy women on its pages. While the now-international brand began elsewhere, Korea has its edition.
As for content, a majority of the people featured in the magazine are beautiful models, though celebrities will grace its pages on occasion.
In 2021, MAXIM Korea introduced a competition for plus-sized women (then called natural size). The first winner, a model named Ssun Biki won the title, not only winning the cash prize but also earning a coveted cover shoot for the August 2021 edition.
Since her historic win and cover, Ssun Biki has continued working as a model and content creator, even starting a brand of jeans meant for people with similar body types.
Now, it seems Ssun Biki has helped to create a modeling company made up of curvy and plus-sized women!
Curvenus, a play on the words curve and venus, is the latest endeavor created by Ssun Biki. Made up of four other models, the group appears to be a content creation team.
We are doing a lot of things such as modeling, dancing, YouTube, Afreeca bj, cosplay, promoting overseas tourist attractions and Fanpage(only for you).

First introduced was Gopa, another natural or plus-sized model featured in Maxim Korea.
Next were Ssun Skey and Foxyeon, with the models having experience in Maxim and as a clothing model, respectively.
In addition to their exclusive content on AfreecaTV, the team has filmed content, including a commercial for Korean food in Mongolia.

During their time in Mongolia, the four models appear to have done a photoshoot which has not yet been released.
While there are plenty of modeling groups, one featuring only plus-sized and curvy women in Korea is a unique concept!
