SBS’s upcoming drama Demon (working title) by writer Kim Eun-hee (Jirisan) will feature a special guest appearance by Jin Seon-gyu (Bargain) in the role of Kim Tae-ri’s (Twenty Five Twenty One) dad. Jin has worked with both Kims in the past via Netflix – having starred in writer Kim’s Kingdom series and acted alongside Kim Tae-ri in the movie Space Sweepers. [YTN]
As we head into premiere week, KBS’s Bad Prosecutor released their last round of promos including a new poster and video teaser. Starring D.O. (100 Days My Prince), Lee Se-hee (Young Lady and Gentleman), and Ha Joon (Crazy Love), as our prosecutor team who are each pushing for differing agendas, the legal-action drama will be coming to our screens on October 5. Park Hoon (Big Mouth) has been added to the cast of Law Money, playing yet another prosecutor in dramaland – joining business man Lee Seon-kyun (Dr. Brain) and judicial officer Moon Chae-won (Flower of Evil) in the lineup. Kim Bora (The Grotesque Mansion) and Up10tion’s Kim Woo-seok (Bulgasal: Immortal Souls) have been paired for a new romance called Finland Papa. Based on a popular novel by the same title, filming is scheduled to begin early this month. [Newsis (1), (2)]
EXID’s Hani (Idol: The Coup) will be starring in a new Coupang Play series called Fantasy Spot. Aiming to broadcast towards the end of this year, the story has Hani playing an ordinary office worker who is given the reins to manage a podcast out of the blue. SBS has been pushing out the final batch of promos for Cheer Up as well, including a new group poster and two video teasers: a character teaser and a first episode preview. New character posters have dropped for TVING’s Yonder and we finally get a look at some of our supporting cast: Jung Jin-young (May It Please the Court), Lee Jung-eun (Our Blues), Bae Yoo-ram (Unicorn), and Yoon Yi-rae (School 2021).
