Queen Of Tears‘ production company has come out to respond to speculation over Kim Soo Hyun‘s salary.
On March 26, it was reported that Kim Soo Hyun made a whopping ₩800 million KRW (about $597,000 USD) per episode.

According to reports, he is currently receiving ₩800 million KRW (about $597,000 USD) per episode. With 16 episodes in total, he will receive a whopping ₩12.8 billion KRW (about $9.55 million USD) as payout.
As controversy over the actor’s salary grew, Studio Dragon, the production company behind the K-Drama, came out to set the record straight. According to the production team, the actor made nowhere near that amount.
It is absolutely not true that he gets paid ₩800 million KRW (about $597,000 USD). He gets paid much less.
