These Female Idols Are K-Pop’s Top Visuals, According to Fellow Idols

In January 2020, Korean news outlet Ilgan Sports released their annual survey for K-pop Idols. This year, 116 idols across 24 groups partook in it and gave their answered. One of the questions asked was which female K-pop idol is the best visual in the industry.

5. Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon and IZ*ONE’s Kim Minju (tied)

Taeyeon and Kim Minju tied for fifth place, each earning two points.

Taeyeon’s visual has been highly regarded by K-Pop fans for years. The idol has a small face, with big eyes. She also had a slim and high nose which is considered attractive in Korea. On top of that, her aegyo-sal gives her a youthful glow, making her look younger than she is.

Minju is one of the three visuals in IZ*ONE and her visual has been praised even prior to her debut, back when she appeared in Kriesha Chu’s music videos. The idol has a small face with big, doe like eyes. She also has a small mouth and full lips, which Koreans love. Like Taeyeon, her aegyo-sal gives her a youthful, innocent glow.

4. Suzy, TWICE, and ITZY’s Yeji (tied)

Suzy, all of TWICE, and ITZY’s Yeji tied for forth place, earning four points.

Suzy is known as one of Korea’s sweethearts thanks to her pure and innocent look. She has a face that most people say they will never get tired of and has a likeable and attractive vibe to her. The idol has big eyes that dazzle when the light shines on her as well as full lips.

TWICE as a whole was mentioned and it’s not hard to see why! All the members of TWICE have gone viral thanks to their stunning visuals. All of the girls have faces that suit the Korean standard and stand out thanks to their fresh and glowing charms. In fact, TWICE is known for having a group where all members are gorgeous, they are even known as a visual group! What’s not to like about TWICE?

Yeji’s beauty stood out to people since it’s different from what most see in K-Pop. She has a feline like look to her thanks to her sharp eyes. Miyeon grabbed the number three spot with five points.

Though Miyeon debuted just two years ago, the idol is already gaining recognition for her stunning visuals! She has soft visuals which can lead people to be surprised due to her strong vocals. Additionally, she has the most mature look compared to her members, which means she has no problem pulling off both elegant and dark concepts.

2. TWICE’s Tzuyu and Red Velvet’s Irene (tied)

Tzuyu and Irene tied for second place, both earning six points.

Tzuyu’s visual is acknowledged worldwide, even earning the title of “The World’s Most Beautiful Face” back in 2019. The idol has a an angelic, pure, and innocent vibe to her which attracts a lot of people. On top of that, she has big, doe like eyes and aegyo-sal that gives her a refreshing look. She also a high nose bridge that Koreans envy.

Irene is almost thirty years old, but you’ll never know due to how young and beautiful she looks! The idol has big, almond shaped eyes that shine wherever she goes. On top of that, she has no wrinkles and has flawless, fair skin, making her look just as youthful as the maknae line of Red Velvet. Did she find the fountain of youth?

And finally, visual queen Yoona claimed the throne with seven points!

Yoona has been praised for her beauty ever since Girls’ Generation’s debut, which led her to become one of the most recognizable faces in South Korea.
