BLACKPINK Lisa’s newly released dance video is trending online! The famous South Korean idol made dance cover of Chris Brown’s “City Girls.” After BLACKPINK has finished their promotional activities of “How You Like That,” and as the group is preparing for their official September comeback, Lisa spared some time to update the BLINKs with an amazing and dynamic dance cover!
On Lisa’s official YouTube channel, Lilifilm Official, the idol uploaded her dance cover of “City Girls.” The choreography for the whole dance was done by Cheshir Ha, a famous choreographer/dancer, who can also be seen in the music video.
Lisa also shared a few behind-the-scenes photos on her Instagram account. She captioned them with, “Thank you so much to @cheshir_haa who’s been there with me ever since the very first lili’s dance performance video! It was a great pleasure to get to know you and work with you before you leave Korea! Until we meet again! Take care and please don’t forget me!!”
With her fiery dance skills, it’s no surprise that she’s the main dancer of BLACKPINK. As she rocked the baggy pants and bandana, she perfectly executed every step and movement. Her reflexes were on point, and her body swayed flawlessly to the song’s rhythm. The video, which lasted two minutes long, immediately trended on every social media platform!
Fans were shocked by how great Lisa’s body movement is given that she currently has a shoulder injury, which she got while promoting “How You Like That.” Although there were no official statements regarding the injury, fans are happy to see the idol doing well.

However, this is not the first time Lisa has been injured while doing a promotion. During the group’s “Kill This Love” comeback in April 2019, fans also speculated that Lisa was bothered as she seemed to wear a support belt, which is used to treat back pains. Nonetheless, the queen always shows up and delivers!
Additionally, after a few hours. Chris Brown reposted Lisa’s video on his Instagram account and captioned it with a fire emoji! This just proves time and time again that Lisa is an impressive dancer. Gaining recognition not just in Korea, but worldwide!
