BTOB member, actor and singer Yook Sung-jae will join the military band after receiving his basic military training.
According to Daum’s entertainment news site, My Daily, Yook passed the application to join the military band. His enlistment starts on May 11. Other idols who served in the military band include fellow BTOB member Changsub and SHINee’s Key.
As part of the band, there is plenty of opportunity for Yook to appear in concerts and events. Yook Sung-jae announced his enlistment after his birthday. He thanked his fans for all the love and support.
His drama “Mystic Pop-Up Bar” will start airing on May 20. He recently launched his first solo album, “Yook O’Clock.” Yook has starred in dramas such as “Goblin” and “Who are you: School 2015” and variety shows including “All the Butlers” and “Busted.”
