BLACKPINK is officially the top K-Pop girl group in concert sales!
Their “In Your Area” tour starting November 2018 and spanning until February 2020 has been a huge success in Asia, North America, Oceania, and more.
It has since been revealed that BLACKPINK’s “In Your Area” has officially become the most successful concert tour by a Korean girl group in history.
They earned a staggering total of $38.13 million USD on this world tour, the average ticket price being $143.19 USD.
The tour also attracted 266,296 people in 27 stops in a little over a year.
The “In Your Area” tour was received well by fans as further proven by their impressive ticket sales percentage. The average percentage of sold out tickets was reportedly 99.28%.
Other successful girl group concerts include Girl’s Generation‘s “2nd and 3rd Japan Tour”, and Kara’s “1st Japan Tour.”
