BTS Jimin ranked No.1 again for Boy band member brand reputation ranking this October!

On Friday, The Korea Research Institute for Corporate Reputation released its big data analysis result for October 2020 boy group member brand reputation. The world-famous idol Jimin of BTS topped the ranking, followed by EXO’s Baekhyun and Pentagon Hui as second and third places, respectively.

In order to analyze big data of the boy group’s member brand reputation, the Korea Institute for Corporate Review extracted 113,571,467 brand big data from 653 individual members of the boy group from September 16, 2020, to October 16, 2020.

The institute analyzed the ranking considering the participation index of consumers, media index as well as the community awareness index and consumer’s behavioral analysis on the boy group member brands. The big data increased by 11.43 percent, compared to September’s data.

Koo Chang-Hwan, director of the Korea Enterprise Reputation Institute, said, “As a result of the analysis of the boy band’s personal brand reputation in October 2020, BTS Jimin brand topped the list.”

Based on the analysis, BTS Jimin was able to defend his spot for the 22nd consecutive month, with a brand reputation index of 5,511,794. Though it fell by approximately 42.18 percent than last month, he was able to have more than 60 percent of positive reactions from fans and consumers, relating him to keywords, “Dynamite,” “Birthday,” and “Billboard.”

Meanwhile, the EXO member and currently SuperM’ leader Baekhyun sat on the second spot with a 4,368,575 brand reputation index.

Indeed, Pentagon Hui captured the interest and attention of consumers and fans as he amazingly rose into the third rank by a 700.47 percent increase in his former index. From approximately 500,000 points, Hui scored 3,862,218 for this October.

Moreover, two BTS members also entered the Top 5, including BTS Jungkook in the 4th spot and BTs V at rank no. 5. Jungkook gained a 3,815,400 brand reputation index, which is 48.75 percent lower than his September score, while BTS V’s overall index is 3,814,321.which fell by 45.26%.
