On the 21st of August 2020, it was reported that former AOA‘s Choa has become a part of a newly formed entertainment agency.
The former main vocal, who is 30 in Korea this year, left the group about 3 years ago in 2017, to the shock of many fans. A representative from the industry has reported to MyDaily news that she joined a new company created by a former founding member of FNC Entertainment, Kim Young Sun. Kim Young Sun, who was a director at Choa’s former agency, created a new agency recently, called Great M Entertainment. Choa will be making her new start there as their first artist.
Kim Young Sun has previously helped to plan many of FNC Entertainment’s successful groups, including FTISLAND, CNBLUE, AOA, N.Flying, Cherry Bullet and SF9. Neither FNC Entertainment nor Great M Entertainment has yet to release a statement.
In other news, Choa has recently sung for an OST for the drama, To All The Boys That Loved Me, titled “Here I Am”. The song marked her comeback into the industry since her departure from AOA 3 years ago.
