Jang Na-ra and Nam Ji-hyun Face Off After Leaving Daejong Law Firm. In Episode 14 of SBS’s ‘Good Partner,’ which aired at 10 p.m. on the 13th, viewers witnessed the dramatic reunion between Cha Eun-kyung (played by Jang Na-ra) and Han Yu-ri (played by Nam Ji-hyun).
The episode depicted Cha Eun-kyung’s decision to leave Daejong Law Firm after resolving the issue with Cheon Hwan-seo (played by Kwak Si-yang). She told Han Yu-ri, “I’m going to try one more brave thing. I’m leaving. I’m going to become independent from this company, so you need to become independent from me.”
As Cha Eun-kyung prepared to leave, Jung Woo-jin visited her. He urged, “It’s not too late. Do you really have to go?” Cha Eun-kyung responded, “Labor-management relations and marital relations have something in common. I once thought you were my everything.” When Jung Woo-jin asked if she felt refreshed, Cha Eun-kyung replied, “Yes, it is refreshing,” and extended her hand, offering her support for his new beginning. They shook hands, and Cha Eun-kyung expressed her gratitude.
Meanwhile, Han Yu-ri clung to Cha Eun-kyung, saying, “I will follow you, Lawyer Cha. What will I do if you leave like this?” Cha Eun-kyung reassured her, “I have already received all my compensation. I’ve gained a junior like you, both socially and financially.” Despite Han Yu-ri’s plea to stay, stating, “I still have a lot to learn from you,” Cha Eun-kyung encouraged her to remain and learn at the firm, suggesting they might meet again as business partners rather than as employer and employee.
Cha Eun-kyung subsequently opened her own office and continued her legal practice. Later, Han Yu-ri visited Cha Eun-kyung, informing her that the CEO suggested a team transfer and asked her for advice. Cha Eun-kyung encouraged Han Yu-ri, saying, “I’m sure you know the answer,” leading Han Yu-ri to decide to stay with the divorce team.
In a twist of fate, Cha Eun-kyung received a request from a prisoner and took on the case. As Han Yu-ri remained in the divorce team, the two found themselves facing off as opposing lawyers, adding a new layer of intrigue to the storyline.
