Former After School leader Kahi is receiving heavy criticism for taking her kids to the beach in spite of the rapid spread of COVID-19.
On March 19, Kahi posted several photos on her Instagram account. In one photo, she can be seen playing with her children in a beach in Bali, Indonesia. Kahi, her husband, and two boys are currently living in Bali.
In her caption, Kahi mentions that she mustered up the courage to take her children to the beach after having been quarantined for some time.
Many Korean and international netizens who viewed her photos could not believe she brought her children to the beach instead of self-quarantining. More than anything, they could not understand her motive for doing so.

Indonesia currently has the highest COVID-19 death toll in Southeast Asia. As of March 19, the number of fatalities has climbed to 25, and at least 309 patients are confirmed to have contracted the virus.
