Kim Haneul is framed for murder in Grabbed by the Collar
by tccolb
It’s looking quite grim in the first teaser for KBS’s mystery-thriller Grabbed by the Collar, where the stakes are rising along with my blood pressure as our justice-seeking heroine Kim Haneul (Kill Heel) becomes the prime suspect on a high-profile murder case.
It certainly doesn’t help to be greeted by foreboding music and an eerily grinned Yoon Je-moon (High Cookie) as we begin the trailer. But our Seo Jung-won (Kim Haneul) has a backbone of steel and isn’t intimidated by this unpleasant surprise. She thus continues with her news segment as planned – also titled Grabbed by the Collar – and the captions explain that Jung-won is a journalist who calls out corrupted individuals.

However, this means that Jung-won has made enemies with some powerful people, and we follow her in the teaser as she finds herself in incriminating circumstances. As she and her husband Jang Seung-jo (Death’s Game) are hounded by the press, Jung-won defends herself in voiceover that, “Someone has manipulated the evidence and framed me as the culprit.”
However, police detective and ex-boyfriend Yeon Woo-jin (Daily Dose of Sunshine) is unsure what to believe, telling Jung-won, “I can’t help but continue to be suspicious of you because you did lie.” We then watch as Seol Woo-jae (Jang Seung-jo) is brought in for questioning as well, and the teaser comes to a close as Kim Tae-heon (Yeon Woo-jin) does some kind of swab test on Woo-jae.
Production for the web novel adaptation has co-directing by PD Lee Ho and PD Lee Hyun-kyung, with Bae Soo-young penning the scripts. Airing in the Monday-Tuesday slot following Love Song for Illusion, KBS’s Grabbed by the Collar will be premiering on March 18.
