Lee Young-ae (Inspector Koo) is reviewing an offer for a new thriller called Eun-soo’s Good Day (roughly translated). Production is still in the early stages with PD Park Hyun-seok attached to direct (Forest of Secrets 2, Dance Sports Girls). In the meantime, Lee is currently busy with filming for tvN’s upcoming Maestra, which is slated to broadcast later this year. [Osen]

A new poster has dropped for ENA’s black comedy-thriller Day of Kidnapping, showcasing our main duo Yoon Kye-sang (Kiss Sixth Sense) and Yoo-na (Green Mothers’ Club). Also starring Park Sung-hoon (Not Others) and Kim Shin-rok (Moving), the series premieres on September 13, following Longing for You in the Wednesday-Thursday slot.[Sports Donga]

Park Joo-hyun (The Forbidden Marriage) confirmed casting for the webtoon adaptation Perfect Family, joining Kim Byung-chul (Doctor Cha) and Yoon Se-ah (Snowdrop) as their perfectionist adopted daughter. Directed by Japanese filmmaker Yukisada Isao (River’s Edge), the thriller is planning to release on an international streaming platform. [Sports Kyunghyang]
Jung Eun-chae (Anna) is in talks to join Sohn Hyun-joo (The Good Detective 2) and Kim Myung-min (Law School) in ENA’s Your Honor. Aiming to broadcast sometime next year, production for the legal drama is being led by PD Pyo Min-soo (The Third Charm, The Producers). [JTBC, Newsen]

Speaking of ENA, the second season of New Recruit is now just over a week away and the latest stills showcase newcomer Kim Ji-suk (Kiss Sixth Sense), who is about to begin his reign of terror at the military base. New stills have also come out for JTBC’s Destined With You, this time featuring more of the fantasy’s supporting cast. Helllooo Lee Tae-ri (Red Heart).
