Kim Haneul, Yeon Woo-jin, Jang Seung-jo

  • According to reports, KBS has lined up their main cast for the new mystery Let’s Get Grabbed by the Collar, which stars Kim Haneul (Kill Heel), Yeon Woo-jin (Thirty-Nine), and Jang Seung-jo (Can We Be Strangers). With production led by PD Lee Ho and writer Bae Soo-young, filming is set to begin later this year and is aiming to broadcast in early 2024. [Star News]
  • New character posters have dropped for JTBC’s Behind Your Touch, showcasing leads Han Ji-min (Yonder), Lee Min-ki (My Liberation Notes), and Suho (Rich Man). With each declaring that their hands, ambition, and face – respectively – are all innocent, the fantasy rom-com begins investigations on August 12. [JTBC]

  • Lee Se-young (The Law Cafe) is considering an offer for a new romance called Things that Come After Love (roughly translated), acting opposite Japanese actor Sakaguchi Kentaro (Dr. Chocolate). Based on a bestselling novel co-written by Gong Ji-young and Tsuji Hitonari, filmmaker Moon Hyun-sung (Seoul Vibe, The King’s Case Note) is attached to direct, marking his drama debut. [JTBC, News1]
  • Yoo Seung-ho (Moonshine) is in talks for a starring role in I’m Home, a cozy new series about found family. Production is still in the early stages with PD Ra Ha-na (Green Mothers’ Club, Sunbae Don’t Put on that Lipstick) directing.   • Over on TVING, Ra Mi-ran (The Good Bad Mother) and Eom Ji-won (Little Women) are locked and ready to go in the newest poster for Cold Blooded Intern. Premiering next month on August 11, PD Han Sang-jae (You Who Forgot Poetry, Rude Miss Young-ae) is at the helm with scripts penned by Park Yeon-kyung (The Sound of Your Heart Reboot). [News1]
  • Continuing to hark back to the yesteryears, KBS released an old-school style illustrated poster for their upcoming My Lovely Boxer. Starring Lee Sang-yub (Eve), Kim So-hye (How to Buy a Friend), Winner’s Kim Jin-woo (Love for a Thousand More), and Park Ji-hwan (Our Blues) among others, the sports drama will be launching on August 21.
