I’ve seen hardly better dramas becoming hits, so… Weak writing certainly did its part here though.
Poor guys would’ve end up jobless because divorce as we know it was not a thing back then. The only way to get out of unwanted marriage was a bloody one – literally. Poison sellers were in huge demand, I suppose. When will we have a drama about those hardworking people?)))
