Eight reasons why we love BTOB

Born to Beat or BTOB debuted on March 21, 2012 under Cube Entertainment. It’s the first time that we saw Eunkwang, Minhyuk, Changsub, Hyunsik, Peniel, Ilhoon and Sungjae.

They practically grew up before our eyes. We celebrate eight years with BTOB. We light our melody bong for them and count the many ways we love them.

We love how crazy they can be

Their sense of humor is topnotch

We mean, who else can top the moment when Eunkwang competed in archery dressed as a centaur in 2016 Idol Star Athletics Championships?

Or this gem where they recreated Michaelangelo’s “Creation of Adam”.

They love each other like family

Yook Sung-jae always talk about how his hyungs (older brothers) are like family to him because they’ve been through so much together.  Changsub says that his fellow members are the beansprouts in the beansprout soup.

No auto-tune needed

The visuals are real

Minhyuk and Sungjae look good even without makeup on.

They really make good music

They will be the first to tell you that they are together to make beautiful music. That is what they have been doing for Melodies.

Melody is one of the nicest fandom there is

BTOB loves Melody. Melody loves BTOB. Melody loves Melody.

A Melody will tell you that you need to purchase an album to support BTOB. But they will also be the first to say that it will not make you less of a fan if you can’t afford to.

BTOB are idols that you want your kids to look up to

Melodies love their character.  The more you know about them and their views in life, the more you admire them.

They will be the first to say that BTOB is not after the album sales (but please, buy their albums.  It’s worth it). What they want to do is really make music. They are full of hope, passion, determination and kindness.  They always find a way to get up when they are down. They never give up and they just keep going.

This is why they survived eight years together.
