Finding love again in A Time Called You
by tccolb
A new poster and teaser have dropped in the latest round of promos for Netflix’s upcoming romance A Time Called You, a remake of the well-loved Taiwanese series Someday or One Day. With all the time travel in dramaland of late, I’m starting to need a flowchart to keep track of which year I’m in now and this story follows our heroine Han Joon-hee – played by Jeon Yeo-bin (Glitch) – as she journeys to and from 1998.
But we’re not simply dealing with fish-out-of-water hijinks, because Joon-hee’s boyfriend Gu Yeon-joon – played by Ahn Hyo-seop (Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim 3) – makes a curious remark in the new teaser about changing the future and something he wants his past self to know.

Sadly, their happy times as a couple are cut short and a mysterious cassette tape consoles Joon-hee in an unexpected way. Suddenly finding herself in 1998, our heroine is told that she’s high school student Kwon Min-joo and fate brings her to fellow student Nam Shi-heon (Ahn Hyo-seop) who looks exactly like her late boyfriend.
Forming a trio of friends along with Jung In-kyu – played by the ever adorable Kang Hoon (The Secret Romantic Guesthouse) – the montage takes us through their many (new?) cherished moments. But even in the past, tragedy isn’t far behind the group, and the teaser ends on our hero’s promise to Joon-hee that they will always meet no matter what time she’s in.
Directed by PD Kim Jin-won (My Country: The New Age, Just Between Lovers) with scripts by Choi Hyo-bi (Babysitter), Netflix’s A Time Called You releases in just a few weeks on September 8.
