In light of the success of Kingdom 2 and Hyena on Netflix, Ju Ji Hoon has been the focus of many people’s attention online.
As a result, the backstory of Ju Ji Hoon’s past with drugs has come to light.
Back in 2009, Ju Ji Hoon was sentenced to 6 months in prison, 1-year probation, and 120 hours of volunteer service for the use of drugs.
But what surprises man fans is the fact that when they tested Ju Ji Hoon for drugs, the tests came back negative.
At the time, lawyer Lee Jae Man announced, “Ju Ji Hoon tested negative for drugs, but he confessed to using them during the investigation.”
He continued, “He consumed drugs 1 to 2 times 1 year and 3 to 4 months ago. Since the tests can only detect drugs tracing back to around a year, the tests came back negative.”
It was shared that Ju Ji Hoon decided to confess to the crime because he felt embarrassed and ashamed about his behavior, and believed he couldn’t lie and he deserved to pay the price.
Since many celebrities are known to use negative test results to be exonerated for the crime, Ju Ji Hoon is receiving much attention for how he handled the matter.
