NMIXX’s Lily Earns Attention For The Unique Way She Avoided A “Scandal”

Year-end award ceremonies are a way for K-Pop fans and artists to celebrate another year of great music. While it can be competitive, often, it’s a fun way to acknowledge and celebrate the genre and the artists behind it.

NMIXX debuted in February of this year, making the 2022 end-of-year award shows the first for the JYP Entertainment group to attend.

The group made a lasting impression this year, especially for their performance at the 2022 MAMA Awards.

Member Lily displayed her incredible powerhouse vocals during her performance, effortlessly reaching high notes live and impressing fans and netizens.

The young Korean Australian singer was first introduced to fans on the fourth season of the competition reality show K-Pop Star in 2014 and placed fourth overall. She was only 12 years old at the time and has since grown up in front of fans

Aside from her incredible vocals, dancing, and visuals, the NMIXX member also has a fun and charming personality, stealing fans’ hearts with her kindness and humor, which she often displays on social media.

Recently, messages Lily posted for fans went viral as the singer again displayed her funny personality in an adorable attempt to avoid any “scandal.”

Lily addressed the innocent topic of seasons and explained that winter was her least favorite season. Not wanting fans to misread the intended statement, she hilariously clarified she meant the season, not her fellow 4th generation girl group member, aespa‘s Winter.

She again went out of her way to hilariously make sure no one misunderstood her message when discussing another innocent topic, fruit.

Lily shared that she doesn’t like melons that much, clarifying in the message that she meant the fruit and not the Kakao Entertainment music streaming service, Melon.

Fans reacted to the funny post, joking that Lily was doing everything she could to avoid a “scandal.”

The same account that posted her “scandal-free” messages also hilariously shared that Lily had been censoring “Melon” and “Spotify” when speaking with fans earlier that day.

Lily continues to be funny and relatable, and fans appreciate the humble and down-to-earth star.
