I can proudly share that I’ve done some research in preparation for this epic moment – namely read like half of the source material. Which, to my deep shock, turned out to be not some trendy webtoon, but a paper manhwa back from 90s. And the era it was made in screams at you from every page of this mess. I can see why they deviated from manhwa so much – many things there would’ve hardly fly nowadays, starting from leads. Kind of a pity that it was THIS butchered though. Some of the traits of manhwa!Van could’ve make the drama version livelier, same for Miho. Yohan is better here though, hope they don’t make him boring now that he’s IN PAIN.
P.S. Let Van die fast and peacefully so KNG can be free to do a drama with a script not written by AI monkeys next.
