Reasons to watch: It’s fun to see a mother-daughter comedy, as they’re not exactly a dramaland staple. Like so many dramas these days, Not Others is the adaptation of an acclaimed webtoon, this time about a haphazard and wild mother (Jeon Hye-jin) and her sensible and cool-headed daughter (Sooyoung) who’s often left cleaning up her mother’s messes. Or, you know, having to deal with the abject embarrassment it seems like her mother frequently causes her. The drama looks like it’ll be a riot for sure, but don’t worry, there is also romance in the cards, with Park Sung-hoon and Ahn Jae-wook finally playing good guys again. Our PD last worked on Cinderella and the Four Knights, and though that may cause a little alarm in the hearts of those who didn’t enjoy that drama, a little lawful chaos might be just what Not Others needs to shine.
