According to an exclusive report by iMBC, child actor, Jung Joon Won, who is famously known for his role in JTBC‘s The World Of The Married, has departed his agency following the controversies he faced during the drama.
Jung Joon Won played the role of Lee Joon Young (Jeon Jin Seo)’s friend in the drama, which aired from March to May of 2020.
And although he is only 16 years old, he shared photos of himself drinking alcohol and smoking cigarettes on his social media in May, which sparked controversy.
Regarding the matter, Jung Joon Won’s agency, DAIN Entertainment stated,
We apologize for not managing our actor correctly. We are figuring out the details internally, and we’ll be sure that this never happens again.

Just a few months later, Jung Joon Won’s exclusive contract with DAIN Entertainment came to an end, and following a mutual agreement, it was decided that he would not resign with the agency.
Jung Joon Won debuted with the 2011 drama, City Hunter, followed by appearances in Save Me, Jugglers, Attorney, and Seven Years Of Night.
But following his controversy during The World of the Married, the child actor has yet to appear in a new project.
