  • Netflix announced that the period comedy Aema has entered production, headlined by Honey Lee (One the Woman), Bang Hyo-rin (Hail to Hell), Jin Seon-gyu (The Uncanny Counter 2: Counter Punch), and Jo Hyun-chul (Inspector Koo). Written and directed by filmmaker Lee Hae-young (Phantom), the series dives into the South Korean film industry during the 1980s and offers a fictional account of the making of real-life 1982 erotic film Madame Aema, which sparked a renaissance in the genre.   • Jun (a.k.a. Lee Jun-young) (May I Help You) is considering an offer to become Pyo Ye-jin’s (Taxi Driver 2) cynical prince charming in I Openly Dream of Cinderella. The rom-com is still in the early stages and is planning to release on an online platform in 2024.   • As we head into premiere week, more promos have been released for TVING’s CEO-dol Mart, reuniting our once-idol boys to become grocery pushing shopkeepers in the new teasers found here and here.
